Shopping cart settings

Settings governing the operation of the shopping cart can be modified by clicking on the shopping Cart tab in the LibriDirect > Settings section of your dashboard. The following settings are available.

• Enable shopping cart. Uncheck this if you do not want a shopping cart.
• Enable credit card processing. Check this to enable online credit card sales. (See the section on Stripe for details).
• Allow "offline" payments. This allows customers to use the shopping basket to place an order that will not be paid by credit card.
• Cart Page. The name of the page where the shopping cart is located. This page will have the shopping cart short code "[book_cart]"
• Hold books when customer checks out. If checked, items ordered through the shopping cart will be set aside for up to 30 days. This can be overriden in the orders section.

Additional fields contain the text that will appear at different places in the checkout process. These messages can be edited according to your preferences.
